Surgical Tech-(Certified)-(Full-Time)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Training & Licensure: Graduate of a school of surgical technology or an equivalent program and/or technical training as a surgical assistant; certification as Certified Surgical Technician.
Knowledge, Experience & Special Skills: CPR; Previous experience as an operating room technician desired. On-the-job training provided as necessary.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS STRENGTH FACTOR: M - Medium Work - Requires exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
JOB SUMMARY: Assists with the preparation for the operating room and equipment for the patient having surgery. Acts as a primary scrub person who handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedures. This necessitates an understanding of the procedures being performed and constant vigil for maintenance of the sterile field. All employees will continually monitor and adhere to safety responsibilities and initiatives.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
